The official regeneration magazine
of Edinburgh's waterfront
Waterfront magazine introduces the vision behind the transformation of Edinburgh's Waterfront: 120 acres of post industrial brownfield land, which is becoming a new sustainable mixed-use community.
Issue two of the magazine is out now, featuring a round up of development and investment opportunities as well as the achievements to date of the three organisations regenerating the area: Forth Ports plc, National Grid Properties and Waterfront Edinburgh Ltd.
Also featured is the landmark Regeneration Round Table, a frank discussion of development issues recently hosted by Waterfront Magazine. Participants included:
Dave Anderson, Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh & Lothians
Keith Anderson, The City of Edinburgh Council
John Brown, DTZ Residential
David Clement, Waterfront Edinburgh Ltd
David Grant, CB Richard Ellis Ltd
Colin Hunter, Waterfront Edinburgh Ltd
Stewart MacIntyre, now of Forth Ports
Alisdair McIntosh, Scottish Executive
James Leslie Melville, Bank of Scotland
Nick Paterson, Foster + Partners
Nathan Thompson, Forth Ports
The magazine also discusses job creation programmes, the experiences of the first residents and how the Waterfront will integrate with the rest of Edinburgh, as well as updates of other schemes across the capital. It's essential reading for the regeneration community.
